God sent the Angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary before Jesus’s birth to announce the good news of the Messiah’s arrival.

Luke 1:19 tells the story of the angel Gabriel, who answered, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and tell you this good news.

Mary hesitated as Angel Gabriel revealed the news, but the angel comforted her, saying, “Do not be afraid. I am here to bring you good news from Heaven for the benefit of humanity and their salvation. With the birth of this child, God will be present in society eternally.”

Luke 2:10

10 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy for all the people.

God’s promise to bring the good news to the entire human race without exclusion or discrimination to anybody but to all humanity is further evidence that reinforces the fact that God’s infinite love toward society is not only everlasting but also with no bounds.

Therefore, nobody should feel excluded from God’s ultimate plan for salvation through Jesus Christ, the Only Savior of humanity.

God expects humanity to receive the good news.

As Jesus grew up and began His ministry of proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God, He went to the temple one day and read from scripture, declaring Him to be the ‘sent one’ with the Good News, quoting the prophet Isaiah, as described in Luke 4:18.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted.
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

The Great Commission

In addition, after Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to the eleven disciples, He gave them a sacred commandment that all of His believers should obey until the end of time, known as The Great Commission,  found in the book of Matthew 28:16-20

Then, the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in Heaven and earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded. And surely I am with you to the very end of the age.”

The apostles continued preaching the good news.

Jesus called the twelve to follow Him as His disciples and, after His resurrection, as His apostles. They preached the good news with zeal in the temple courts and various surrounding communities, just as they saw their master Jesus Christ do daily in the streets of Jerusalem and throughout the entire region of Israel.

Acts 5:42

42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

In the book of Acts 13: verses 32-33, the Apostle Paul summarizes the exact details of the promise of the good news of salvation to humanity in Acts 13:32-33.

32 “We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestors, he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm:

“‘You are my son;
Today, I have become your father.’
